Meet the Team

Design is collaborative so having a creative team to support, motivate, encourage, and design with is a very important part of our process. We work hard together, and we play hard together as well – often sharing meals, celebrations, and personal milestones as a group. Relationships are an important component to seamless design; no matter who your lead designer is, we are all here for you and are all a part of your team.

Our Designers

Patricia Walpole

Senior Interior Designer

Studio Manager

Patricia strives to design remarkable interiors that combine beauty and function. She has an innate understanding of how to integrate proportion and aesthetic to create dynamic and innovative spaces.

Growing up Patricia always maintained a love for art and design. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Art History, she went back to her roots and worked for five years designing homes in Charleston, SC. She is now living in downtown Greenville, and we feel lucky to have her on the LH team.

An interesting fact about Patricia is that she won a National Championship at UCA Nationals with the University of Kentucky Cheerleading squad in 2014. Being a part of a team of high-level athletes was an invaluable lesson in collaboration and communication. She now uses these skills to coordinate with the architects and project managers to create beautiful custom homes.

What I love most about design?

Excellent design should have the ability to transform a house into a home that is both beautiful and practical. A home should reflect the personality of its owners, making it as memorable and unique as its family. The possibilities are endless, and it is exciting to have the opportunity to select a combination of lighting, color, and texture that works harmoniously, and speaks to the client. Being able to see my ideas come to life on a large scale in custom homes has only deepened my passion for design.

Erin Gillig

Senior Interior Designer

Erin’s strength in design is born out of her unceasing pursuit of perfection, scrupulous attention to detail, and exceptional work ethic. She also brings to the table a background in psychology, upon which she relies daily to collaborate with her team and understand her clients’ needs.

Erin is a South Carolina native. She greets every client with that unequivocal southern charm and tackles every design hurdle with both grace and grit. Born in Charleston, she was surrounded by rich history, traditions, and design at a young age. She moved to Greenville with her family and attended Furman Univeristy, earning a bachelors degree in psychology. After graduation she found herself called back to Charleston where she pursued a second bachelors degree in interior design. She graduated with honors and second in her class, at which point a desire to be closer to family led her back to Greenville and brought her to us. Erin joined the Gabriel family in 2019 and has never looked back. She strives to exceed expectations daily and has an innate ability to create spaces that truly reflect the clients for whom they were designed. Each of her designs are distinct and evoke a feeling that only good design can.

What I love most about design?

I do what I do because I truly love it. I consider myself extremely blessed to have found a career that I am passionate about and love waking up for every day. I think that my scrupulous attention to detail and unceasing drive to think outside of the box are qualities that contribute to my value as a designer and make me good at what I do.

Peden Wright

Interior Designer

Peden adds flair and personality to everything she does. She is especially loved for her ability to make everyone feel comfortable and her optimistic, “glass half-full” approach to life. Born in Augusta, GA she was surrounded by visual inspiration – including tree-lined streets which framed gorgeous historic homes, and her mother’s design magazines displayed on the coffee table. Her goal is for spaces to feel designed with a designer expertise, but also be very unique to the homeowner. She uses personal details and pieces that function for her client’s needs to inspire creative space that people are proud to come home to.

Peden is a Clemson Tiger through-and-through; her parents both went to Clemson and she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

When she isn’t working, you’ll either find her painting and drawing or spending time with family, friends, her boyfriend, and her dog Hudson.

Olivia Coates

Interior Designer

Drafting Specialist

Olivia graduated from Anderson University in 2022 with a BFA in Interior design and was an active member of the American Society for Interior Designers throughout college. She is our AutoCad specialist with an incredible eye for detail, which, combined with her beautiful design work, makes her a crucial part of the LH Design team.

Originally from Houston, Olivia has made the Upstate her home since college. Outside of work, she cherishes spending time with her husband and their adorable baby boy. Their household includes two beloved pets: a cat named “cat” and a dog named Charlie. Olivia’s creative spirit extends to her love for cooking and baking in her free time. Her ideal day includes unwinding by reading a book or relaxing at the beach.

Emily Stevens

Interior Designer

Emily has been a part of the LH Design team for two years. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design. Throughout college, Emily gained experience working with residential interiors and at design retail stores. She brings a modern yet classic style that is perfect for our clients. Emily prioritizes building relationships, understanding that fulfilling the client’s needs can only be achieved once a relationship has been established. Her ultimate goal is to combine function and aesthetics to cultivate a space that feels like home. Emily also has an exceptional eye for detail, making her a vital asset for staging homes.

Emily is originally from Georgia and fell in love with the Greenville area after moving here for college. She is a coffee shop connoisseur (The Village Grind is her favorite!) and always looks forward to walks on the Swamp Rabbit Trail with her pride and joy, her dog Banks, an adorable Cockapoo. Outside of work, the highlight of her week is girls’ night with her close-knit group of friends!

Favorite verse:
2 Corinthians 12:9- “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Savanna Morris

Junior Interior Designer

Logistics and Asset Manager

Savanna graduated from North Greenville University in 2020. She began her career working in the front office of our parent company, Gabriel Builders, but her attention to design detail was quickly noticed and she was able to move to LH Design Studio where she assists the designers. Savanna is a real asset to the design team, always willing to help out with a smile on her face.

Savanna is married to her high school sweetheart who is a high school football coach and lifelong UGA fan, so football is a big part of their lives. In addition to the Thursday and Friday high school games, they love going to Athens on Saturdays in the fall. They also have a dog they’re obsessed with named Kirby. (Go Dawgs!)

Savanna likes to garden and work outdoors, and although she doesn’t get to do it often enough, she loves spending time with her mom either antique shopping or going to brunch.

Our Office Team

Emily Dymski

Director of Operations and Human Resources

Emily manages Human Resources for all of the Gabriel Builders Companies, and Operations for LH Design Studio. A firm believer that happy employees are better equipped to make clients happy, she works hard to support her colleagues with clear processes and communications as they design and build our clients’ dream homes.

Emily brings over 20 years of communications experience to Gabriel Builders, working for elite brands such as the American Heart Association,  Greenville Drive, Greenville Theatre, and her alma mater UT Chattanooga, where she earned a degree in Mass Communications with minors in Merchandising and Economics. In her spare time, you will most likely find her either watching a history show, a basketball game, or on a hike with her husband. She has three children, two at USC Upstate and one at Emory Law.

Committed to making a positive difference in her community, Emily volunteers and serves on panels throughout the Upstate in need of branding or fundraising guidance.

Favorite quotes:

To be kind is more important than to be right. Many times what people need is not a brilliant mind that speaks but a special heart that listens.

Being positive won’t guarantee you’ll succeed. But being negative will guarantee you won’t.

I am never in control of what happens around me, but I am always in control of what happens within me.
