Raised an artist and a competitive equestrian, Amber’s unique educational, personal and professional background shape her design perspective. Combining the passion and technical pursuit of perfection cultivated as a rider with the creativity and crafted vision of an artist, she found her home in design – a discipline that requires both.
She believes great design is driven by each client’s story. Her ability to envision a space, create custom pieces to fill it and put pen to paper to show her clients the concept gives those clients a seamless experience with endless possibilities. She believes the most beautiful spaces are found at the intersection of the art and science of design.
Amber joined LH with almost a decade of experience in residential, hospitality and health care design. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing, with a minor in animal and veterinary science, from Clemson University and a Master of Fine Arts in interior design from Florida State University. She resides near Greenville’s downtown with her husband, Michael, and three children, Rory Beth, Eli and Rowyn.
What I love most about design?
I design because I love being able to create a new space every single day! Each client brings a new creative journey and I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to work with them to make their dream home a reality. From the start of my career I have been fascinated by kitchen design and thrive when working on the space that many call the heart of the home. I hope my passion for design creates a build process that is a fun and rewarding experience for each of my clients!

Kitchen + Bath Cabinetry Specialist
Growing up around her family’s commercial contracting business, Sydney is no stranger to the constant hustle of the build world. Her love for the industry started there, around job sites, blue prints, and seeing the fruits of her dad’s labor. It was without a doubt the launching pad for her decision to be an interior designer, graduating top in her class and awarded Best Kitchen & Bath Designer at Western Carolina University- which helped shape her design focus early in her career.
Sydney is a baller and brings so much to our collaborative team- her abilities in Kitchen and Bath design are like magic, she really has a natural talent to listen closely to our clients and create a space that fits their lifestyle to a “T”.
Her depth of experience resonates from former design-build firms in Atlanta and Raleigh, but the mountains of South Carolina make her feel most at home. We are so fortunate to have her as a part of the team.
What I love most about design?
I love design because of its innate storytelling ability. Each space is a reflection of the individual. Just as each of my clients are unique, their homes are equally so. Great design evokes emotion, creates a sense of belonging, and has a palpable presence people can feel as they spend time in the space. I am so thankful to have found a profession that can bring my clients much joy as it does me.

I do what I do because I truly love it. I consider myself extremely blessed to have found a career that I am passionate about and love waking up for every day. Patricia strives to design remarkable interiors that combine beauty and function. She has an innate understanding of how to integrate proportion and aesthetic to create dynamic and innovative spaces.
Growing up Patricia always maintained a love for art and design. After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a major in Interior Design and a minor in Art History, she went back to her roots and worked for five years designing homes in Charleston, SC. She is now living in downtown Greenville, and we feel lucky to have her on the LH team.
An interesting fact about Patricia is that she won a National Championship at UCA Nationals with the University of Kentucky Cheerleading squad in 2014. Being a part of a team of high-level athletes was an invaluable lesson in collaboration and communication. She now uses these skills to coordinate with the architects and project managers to create beautiful custom homes.
What I love most about design?
Excellent design should have the ability to transform a house into a home that is both beautiful and practical. A home should reflect the personality of its owners, making it as memorable and unique as its family. The possibilities are endless, and it is exciting to have the opportunity to select a combination of lighting, color, and texture that works harmoniously, and speaks to the client. Being able to see my ideas come to life on a large scale in custom homes has only deepened my passion for design.

Savanna is fresh out of college, having just graduated from North Greenville University in 2020. She began her career working in the front office of our parent company, Gabriel Builders, but her attention to design detail was quickly noticed, and she was able to move to LH Design Studio where she assists the designers. Savanna is a real asset to the design team, always willing to help out with a smile on her face.
Savanna is married to her high school sweetheart who is a high school football coach and lifelong UGA fan, so football is a big part of their lives. In addition to the Thursday and Friday high school games, they love going to Athens on Saturdays in the fall. They also have a dog they’re obsessed with named Kirby. (Go Dawgs!)
Savanna likes to garden and work outdoors, and although she doesn’t get to do it often enough, she loves spending time with her mom either antique shopping or going to brunch.
